It all started back in 2019 when Aeronautical Engineering graduate resinged his Airline job, V.Rajakumaran & co decided they wanted to make life easier and save time by changing the way India eats - all with just a tap! With their idea of "food delivery with very less delivery charge", all they needed was the tech to power it and were introduced to Vijaya-Groups, who brought this vision to life with the first website. And with this, Zoppey was launched as a food ordering & delivery platform.

In Nov 2020, Zoppey began operations by signing up a few restaurants in Pattukkottai, Thanjavur district, Tamilnadu. Soon enough, the first team of Zoppey delivery partners came into action to deliver food within 30 minutes with very less delivery charge. Shortly after, Zoppey raised its first round of funding and launched the app in Dec of 2020. Fun fact: The technology that delivers great food right to your doorstep was completely developed in-house!

With love and support from consumers, Zoppey is planning to expand over whole Tamilnadu including towns & villages, first through the entire town of Pattukkottai and then across the entire Tamilnadu.
